GET EMPOWERED WITH OPEN HANDS

We believe in the strength of relationships and the power of open communication. We are Open Hands, providing essential knowledge and tools to communities, building healthier, stronger environments.

WHAT WE DO

Open Hands Inc. was established to uplift our communities through transformative trainings and practical workshops. We aim to strengthen the fabric of relationships between parents/caretakers and youth using evidence-informed prevention strategies and health-promotion interventions. Our core lies in behavior management, a scientific discipline that covers a wide range of skills including, but not limited to, crisis intervention, parental education, mediation, and restorative practices. And to this day, we continue to extend

an open hand to those in need of empowerment.

OUR TRAININGS

TACT-2/TBM: Balancing the scales between rules and relationships, our Therapeutic Aggression Control Techniques (TACT-2) and Therapeutic Behavior Management (TBM) trainings are critical for managing behavior problems in schools. These include in-depth learning on crisis intervention, understanding childhood trauma, de-escalating situations, and improving self-awareness.

Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED: Recognize and respond to emergency medical scenarios involving adults, children, and infants. These courses meet OSHA/ workplace standards and involve both an online portion and an instructor-led skill session.

Restorative Practices: This program extends the theoretical and practical aspect of engaging with students, staff, and parents in any educational setting. It includes training on facilitating circles that cultivate a positive learning environment and nurturing school culture.

Disciplining Parenting Education: And at the heart of the household, we offer programs for parents on responsible behavior and self-control techniques. This will equip your child with understanding consequences and taking ownership over their actions.
